Commercial Electrical Installation Case Studies
Commercial condition report and consumer unit upgrade in Stockport
The church asked us to attend and complete a condition report (EICR) to satisfy requirements for their insurance policy.
There were a number of faults found with the installation and so it was decided that the best course of action would be to upgrade and relocate the consumer unit.
Switching protective devices from C-type MCBs to B-type RCBOs helped to clear the majority of faults found.
It also brought the installation in line with 18th edition regulations with regards to RCD protection being required on the majority of circuits.
Relocation of industrial shredder, Glossop
This company needed their shredder to be relocated to a new purpose built mezzanine level. As part of this, the new level required power for the unit itself and lighting.
Emergency systems testing, Holmfirth
In this example, we’re testing the fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in an HMO property.
Heritage can design and install any aspect of a commercial or industrial electrical system.
